Full Time - Day Shift
The Adult Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic at Maine Medical Center is seeking a full-time clinical psychologist to join its growing team. This position will provide psychological assessments, consultations, and/or treatment, as indicated. It will also be responsible for supervising residents, psychology trainees, and other students. This clinician will be joining a dedicated care team of outpatient clinicians, case managers, psychiatry providers, and administrative support staff. The clinic is located on the hospital’s flagship campus in Portland, Maine, and offers the opportunity to participate in specialty clinics and provide coordinated care with team providers across the system.

- Professional level of knowledge in Clinical psychology which is equivalent to that which is acquired through the completion of a Doctoral program, accredited by The American Psychological Association.
- Current license (or license eligible) as a Psychologist by the Board of Examiners of Psychologists of Maine.
- Requires a comprehensive understanding of all the procedures and systems used within a clinical psychology setting as well as high levels of proficiency in performing psychological assessment, treatment and consultation normally acquired in a minimum of three years of experience. Requires a minimum of two years of clinical experience.
- Necessary personal and interpersonal skills required to conduct individual family and/or group psychotherapy sessions with patients and their families as well as to work effectively as a member of the health care team.
